Profile Features
Hello Jamacasters, There are a few more areas located within your profile screen that allow for more exposure to the world. These areas are called Agents and Venues, Artist Bio and Recruitment. The Agents and Venues section is only usable for Premium account subscribers. These areas can be accessed by you by clicking on your My Account menu item and then clicking on the edit link. The Agents and Venues area has on drop down box that you select which one applies to your current status if you want a venue or agent to know that you would like to be considered for some type of work etc, then you would select Agents/Venue Status - Available. The Artist Bio area is simply that, an area that asks more questions for you to fill out about yourself and/or your band. Remember the more info available the better you will look to them as taking yourself seriously. The Recruitment area is just an empty text field for you to enter the number or text phrase that may have been given to you by someone who asked you to join this site. Please honer this box for that person, this is how that person gets paid for helping this site get users. If you are interested in becoming a recruiter for this site as a subcontract basis only not as an employee, please contact me via Personal Messaging on this site. These opportunities are limited right now and governed by geographic location as well. If you have any questions or new ideas for the profile area itself please feel free to leave a comment here.

Well, just an update on my progress so far on the new profiles, and other upcoming things for the site. I have been working on some new code to get a profile window just below the scrolling blog area. This area will hold user profile pics at a 125px x 125px size. This picture will show an online/offline graphic of jammin jimmy so people can see at a quick glance who is online. This area will also have a mouse over on the play sample button pic that will randomly play a song from your playlist. Once they click on your picture a new page will come up that will show your complete profile page that will have tons of gadgets including your own player. This page will be coming down the road, probably sometime between Jan-March in the winter. I've been busy working with a marketing company on a different local website and haven't had the chance to be here lately. The good news with that is, I will be tying that site into this site in a local way. I will be drawing some of the funds I get from that effort into this site to a degree as well. I hope everyone is still pumped about the possible future Jamacast holds still. I know it has been a little slow lately, just call this the Calm before the storm, or the eye of the hurricane, hahah. Slow but sure, thats the idea here. It's a targeted effort I have in mind and I want you all to rest asured I have altered my goals for this site only in a positive forward thinking way. Another event to come around the corner in the near future, is to move the site over to another larger faster server. I'm waiting on just a couple things before I commit to that though. I think tentatively arounf Nov - December I will be starting that process. Keep Jamin guys and have fun.
