Decorating, making the house look habitable aflter all that damn Winter stuff. Empty pockets need replenishing with new money so the call for work is stronger at the moment. And i also have to fit in some family visits soon or ill be wearing a set of bollox as earings for the Spring, and that is a 600 mile round trip ,ouch. But thats not for a few weeks yet.phew. And im stuck on a new creation and cant climb over it so it feels like im at a full stop for a minute till i get this one outa the way And i dont want to put this one on the back boiler cos i think its got potential. Which of these two descriptions has the most "Poke" to it...Metal Chicken or Iron Chicken. Which sounds better?

I know ive been quiet for a while now but i havnt dissapeared. as several of you know ive recently got a new band. Our first gig was also our first rehersal together and we went down well even though we knew no songs at all, we just played all the different kinds of genres we could and we winged it well. Since then weve being doing up to 4 gigs a week, 2 of them being holiday camp residencys for the whole summer yay. Only trouble is im not getting much time to get home and chill, ussualy about 3 days out of the 7 and 2 of them catching buses to and fro from ilfracome which is where the band are based. and what with our bus service being rubbish, it takes an eternity to get anywhere. But im kept sane by listening to all of your stuff on the faithfull Mp3 player, now and then i get to put it over the P.A, before and after we play and they go down well (o:

What wed like really is to get 40+ tunes under our belts so we can start getting rid of the ones that dont work as well as others. and at the same time getting our own stuff in order,we got some ideas down but theyre still bare bones at the moment. we did capture some live jamming that we did im just waiting for the thing to be posted to me so i can give it a proper listen before it gets unleashed haha..

Yup i believe it is properly called the lion sleeps tonight. i didnt realise till you said as i was looking for the original title but could only remember the wim a way thing lol ty for putting me straight. Yea the band arrived at kinda the same time which blew me out of the water and i was looking forward to putting more into it.ive downloaded the collab pieces and have been giving them a listen but my head is soo full of other stuff the band is doing that i cant sit down and focus properly for now but when the band hit the song quota ill hopefully have more time to come and play with you guys. On groupies yup we got one, well thats what we introduce her to new people as lol. at least it makes her smile when we say that shes the band groupie and she doesnt start work untill weve done the gig then we pass her around like a joint lol..not really tho,shes just into hangin around with us, shes only 19/20 i think so shes basically ended up with several new dads that keep an eye out for her. i mean we got underwear older than her, and our own kids. so to see her as an object of desire doesnt really work for us and it seems a bit pervy lol, but yup we got a groupie. Im playing tonight but ill be back tomorow so fingers crossed ill see you guys tomorow and have a chin wag.
