Last year, probably about this time, Mamanfie from Splice asked the Splicers for some music that might fit with a horror short film project she was doing for her film class. Strangely enough, there is a preset on my guitar fx processor that is called "Horror Filmscore", that has a nice grating sound using harmonizer, delays, chorus and such. So I improvised a noisy guitar part then mixed in some Splice clips and came up with this result. Maybe a suitable contribution for the Halloween season. Don't play it too loud at first, the guitar is extremely noisy! I can't remember who to credit for the clips used and the Splice website isn't opening for me to have a look. Possibly Rig, Groovebox, and Compusician, though.

Filmscore
Yea, I remember Mamanfie's project and even your particular contribution, because it wasn't too eerie, compared to the other attendee's songs which were rather glitchy, noisy and filled with torturing shouts and nasty noises.
Yours is more groovy - being based on a music theme that reminds me to 60s tv series, kinda 'The Munsters' or even something sci-fi-like owing to the vibrato notes.
Many of your songs seem to hint such reminiscences; especially heard in 'Give the Dog a Bone' which is an outstanding retro tune in your collection.
Retro
Yeah, I seem to like retro sort of sounds and tunes, and give them a bit of a modern twist. "Give the Dog a Bone" is a good example. Nice organ samples by Thaumata, funky wah guitar, but then the song also has all the hand claps and the steady thump. Also, I just covered a song from 1963, you probably will have noticed.
