Calm downtempo synthpop ballad. Working on the lyrics of the draft version, I had a slow rock arrangement in mind, although the meter (mixed 3/4 and 4/4) was rather uncommon for that genre. Then I decided to give Dimitri's violin a try - instead of using an electric guitar for the soloing melody - and now in contrast the rock style seemed too harsh. Tentatively I switched to an electronica accompaniment which of course changed the mood of the song completely, but in a positive way, giving it a much softer flow and enhancing its ballad-like atmosphere.
