Just to let everybody know, Jamacast is now hosting Mp4 Ipod Video files from the events located in the Jamacast On Location section of the site. To get to the Jamacast On Location just click on the animated film image at the top right part of the site. These files are of different sizes and prices, but the prices are from .50 to $1.49. You are getting a much greater value for your money with these files. Compare a five minute itunes Music Video @ $1.99 to our 25-30 minute Video @ $1.49. You always get more value entertainment for your money with independent artists, and you might just find something in these works that would normally have been sensored out by some old geezer. Hey now I know I'm getting older but I refuse to be an old geezer. You're never too old to Rock'n'Roll, wow that phrase is for old geezers, damn geezers!!!
Groove On!!! another geezer phrase, damn I can't win for losing

To Each Their Own
Whatever you decide to do is up to you, nobody is forcing anyone to spend anything. As a matter of fact, signing up for this site is free including all of the things you can't get from Facebook, or Myspace or Twitter are free. None of those sites offer front page exposure for free. First off let me clarify something for those of you who don't understand what this site is trying to do. This site and all of the off site marketing and other countless things we have to do, which by the way other sites spend hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to accomplish. I have done these things and will continue to do these types of things single handed for this site, with the exception of the great members of the site, who have made content and other types of contributions. I personally will not make anymore money than any other AOIM member through this sites efforts. All money goes into production efforts shared with all AOIM Musicians of which many of us are trying to get behind and push via exposure on site and off site. These files are much more than just some CD you would expect to purchase in a store. They represent the blood sweat and tears of all independent musicians who join in this effort. The Alliance of Independent Musicians is very easy for Independent Musicians to become a part of, they just need to contribute music to the site. Your purchases basically break down like this. Most events off site are broken down to where 25% of the proceeds go to Jamacast production and marketing efforts, this includes me traveling arround and filming and interviewing and negotiating space for CD's, creating sponsorships etc, what's left over of this 25% goes to all site AOIM members. All of the bands who participate in these events will get 25% for busting their ass off to give everyone some content in the form of Music and showmanship. Most importantly, 50% of these funds from events will also go to help aid in the prevention of suicide and various other charity efforts. Yes as the site grows I intend to travel to other parts of the country in replication efforts of this Jamacast On Location Project. If successful, I will then set up people to replicate the project in other countries as well. Support from fans is what makes the AOIM work!!! Only then will Independent Musicians be able to win over the current existing Monopolies that are in place. Look at the fact that these files are exclusives and very hard to find, they are true underground issues, they are not mass made polished Walmart specials. If any one of these bands hit mass appeal, they will then represent a part of that bands history. It also shows statistically how important various bands are and what potential they could have. Imagine what could happen if 100,000 people purchased those downloads. Probably everyone of these bands would get some real world exposure through radio play or possibly a recording contract that would include CD's put into a store etc. Everybody wins even you who spent a trivial $1.49 for an entire 25 plus minute video file! I bet most of us shit that away at a McDonalds restaurant,or similar like places. Even if the fries are cold most of us would probably happily munch them down ha ha. Yes I know the dilema, I don't want to give any money to some multi million dollar company who owns a web site. Well I could only wish that were true and if it were, I would really watch out if I were part of the Big Five, because I would take all five of them down to their knees. You see, Only with the support of Fans do we even have the slightest chance of making a new business model work for musicians, and only if we unite as musicians too. If you get a chance go over and take a look at the Trent Reznor's Business model post I put up on the sites forum area. I remember reading a comment from him how he was a bit dissapointed in the Fan support when he first tried some of his new approaches but as time went on more and more fans started to understand what the whole picture was all about. For example, are you even aware of the fact that 80% of all music ever recorded by the big five has been actually held from us listners and fans!!! These are just some of the things I will be educating people on when I am out on my Jamacast On Location events via hand out brochures. I am actually operating in a negative dollar currently, but it does not tire me, it only strengthens me. Another fact to chew on, did you know that most of all charity organizations after all processing and operational costs are taken into consideration roughly around only 18% of the proceeds actually get to the charity cause. This is about making change not money!!!

Corrections
I felt ot necessary to make some corrections to the comment a couple above. When I said single handed, I most certainly am considering the site and it's members. The main thing I was referring to was not spending money with outside agencies and getting stuck with contracts from outside interests. I can't mention enough gratitude I have for all of the jamacast AOIM members and the off site promotions that September Riot Records have been doing for this site. Those were just bad choice of words that I sometimes use reffering to the Jamcast Vs other mega sites. I still need to break the habbit of saying I, because it is now Us or We. This means that we have finally grown to that next phase of being a new model of business for the Independent Musician.
Free Files
If you guys want these Mp4 files for your Ipod for free. Just ask one of the Band members to get it from me for you. I will gladly give any of these files free to the Bands. Drop me a PM and I will send a link to them via email.

AOIM member change
Just wanted to re iterate another blog I posted in April just in case people miss that one and read this one. A little while after the April 3rd event I had made a decision to change the sites AOIM requirements. Basically what needs to been done now, is to ask to meet with me via online or in person so that I can get a good feel for your interests and your music. I will make the decision as to whether you may become an AOIM musician or not. I have also made changes to the sign up EULA, or jamacast site terms of service, or terms of use to reflect these new changes. any musician who is interested in becoming an AOIM member who has signed up on the site prior to April 2010 just let me know and I will accommodate you accordingly Groove On!!!
